July 2025 Release Notes 25.4

Release notes are a summary of changes made to the bhworks platform in a new release. The items listed below are in addition to the general improvements and bug fixes included in the release. For additional information on new functionality, please contact support@mdlogix.com.

Expanding and Collapsing Case Notes within the Case Notes tab

In this release, we improved the Case Notes tab to allow you to expand and collapse Case Notes in the table to quickly see the note without going into the Case Note. 

Click on a Case Note row on the Case Notes tab to expand it:

Click on the top of the row to collapse it. 

Longer notes will display a Show More link, which you can click to expand the rest of the note.

Click Go to Case Note to go into the Case Note record.

Click the paperclip to view supporting materials:

Select Expand All at the top of the Case Notes tab to view all notes at once:

Click Collapse All to collapse them back to the original table.

School-based organizations can also filter the notes by school year:

Note: Filters and expanded/collapsed states will remain selected as long as you are in the participant’s record.

Case Notes and Group Notes for future encounters

You can now select a future encounter date when entering a case note for an individual participant case note or group note. This can be useful when adding notes for an upcoming session. The future date is allowed as long as the case note or group note is preliminary; the note cannot be finalized or submitted for approval with a future encounter date.

You can also cancel a future individual or group encounter by marking Encounter Status: Cancelled in the Case Note or Group Note.

Dashboards and Report Improvements

• Discharge Summary: Overview UPDATED - Updated with Other Reasons for Discharge bar graph. 

• Referrals: Overview UPDATED - Updated to show total numbers of Active and In Draft Referrals. 

• Referrals: Referral Details UPDATED - Updated to show combined bar graphs for Concerns Regarding Behavior, Current Supports, and Secondary Referral Reasons.  

• Tasks: Overview  UPDATED - Updated to show total number of Tasks Completed Manually and Tasks Completed Electronically via a Form.
