The 26.3 release includes many changes needed to support major initiatives in Medicaid Billing and Student Information System Roster integration. However, most of those changes will be rolled out during August and September and are not visible in bhworks at this time. On the back end, bhworks now maintains a Medicaid Service Library defining billing codes and requirements per state. These will be used to validate case notes for Medicaid Billing in the future. Also on the back end only, bhworks now supports uploading student rosters from Infinite Campus via the OneRoster standard. Support for the Michigan Data Hub as well as front-end functionality to easily add students to bhworks from the roster are coming in time for the new school year in August.
Changes visible in bhworks now are described below.
Smaller bug fixes, performance improvements and infrastructure upgrades are also included in the release but not detailed here. The map component used in making referrals to external providers has been upgraded to a more secure and HIPAA-compliant option.

Dashboards and Reports
PHQ-Adolescent Triage report
Organizations using the PHQ-Adolescents for universal screening will be able to run a report showing the critical items, score, and severity level for all students who completed the screen. This allows high risk students to be triaged for follow-up, in addition to the individual report that is currently generated.
Program Enrollment Report
Organizations using the Participants: Program Enrollment Report now have the ability to select a specific month or enter a custom range to filter the report for the necessary time period.
3rd-Party Billing
When sending Consent, Plan of Care or Case Note records to a third party such as Relay or PCG-Edplan for Medicaid Billing, bhworks will now send the student’s district at the time the record was created. This allows the correct information to be provided to our partners in the event that the student changes districts.
In addition, validations have been added to capture records that have no district assigned, so that bhworks does not send data that billing partners cannot import. The missing district code can occur if organization setup is incomplete.
Bug fixes
Billing Review Report: Exported checkbox has been replaced with dropdown allowing user to filter by All, Yes, or No
Billing Review Report: Exported Date column now shows Exported Date rather than Review Date
Billing Review Report: Case notes reviewed after the expected dispatch date are now included in the subsequent dispatch
Referral dashboards: Resolved issue causing some referrals to not update from draft to active status in the reporting data store when submitted
Fixed intermittent disabling of filters on Participants List
